Permission-Based Access Control (PBAC)

Explainer of GRVT's PBAC system for sub-accounts.

The GRVT Docs are a living document that will be dynamically and continuously edited and updated as the GRVT product suite evolves.

GRVT offers a state-of-the-art, on-chain permission-based access control system within each sub-account. This innovative feature allows for the assignment of multiple private keys, each with distinct permissions, such as trading, or rights to transfer and withdraw. This system is designed to provide our users, encompassing both individual and institutional clients, with greater flexibility and control.

Business Accounts

In the realm of business accounts, administrators can add team members. Each addition requires the new user to undergo KYC procedures, either individually or through a designated firm representative. Every team member is linked to a specific private key, which dictates their access level within the account.

Once onboard, these team members can be allocated diverse permissions. This includes the ability to invite new users to the platform, manage internal transfers within GRVT accounts, execute external transfers to other GRVT subaccounts, and initiate withdrawals to pre-approved accounts.

Individual Accounts

Individual account holders are similarly equipped with the ability to assign multiple private keys to their sub-accounts. Each key can be configured with varying permissions, including but not limited to withdrawal rights and trade-only privileges.

Through this permission-based access control, GRVT ensures a customizable and secure experience for all clients, whether they are trading individually or managing a business account.
